Job Description

The Agile Product Owner will lead in reviewing and refining the product vision and goals, gaining buy-in across stakeholders and the program team. This senior leadership position provides strategic leadership and guidance to other SMEs and business representatives ensuring alignment to the transformation vision.

Main Responsibilities Include:
  • Reviewing and refining the product vision and goals for VCAT's case management system (CMS)
  • Reviewing existing functional and non-functional requirements, process maps and user journeys
  • Defining and prioritising the backlog for each of the program's phases of delivery
  • Establishing strong relationships with product stakeholders
  • Leading and facilitating the Product Owner Sync forum
  • Managing product related risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Managing scope deliverables from external third parties
  • Driving awareness and acceptance of agile ways of working and remaining up-to-date on trends and best practice for agile project management
Key Qualifications

To be successful, you will need to have:

  • Relevant professional certification in Agile Product Ownership with demonstrated experience in the role
  • Experience in Case Management and MS Dynamics knowledge is highly regarded
  • Able to cultivate relationships with stakeholders and manage competing interests and demands
  • Experience in balancing operational service requirements in a regulatory environment highly regarded
  • Exceptional leadership and mentorship abilities to introduce and implement technical solutions
  • PASSION FOR USER EXPERIENCE AND QUALITY OUTCOMES
  • Excellent process skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills
