The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in building inspection, defect analysis, and litigation-standard reports. The successful applicant will work closely with clients to identify damage causes, develop scopes of work, and oversee repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough building inspections to identify damage causes, including design flaws and construction defects.
  • Analyse causation and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Prepare forensic reports for litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
  • Develop scopes of work and oversee repair work.
  • Serve as an expert witness in legal settings.
  • Build client relationships through professional communication.
  • Mentor junior consultants and manage multiple assignments effectively.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A minimum of 8 years' experience in the building and construction industry, focusing on residential projects.
  • Expertise in defect analysis and litigation-standard reports.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC).
  • A relevant degree in Building, Construction, or Engineering.
  • Leadership skills and exceptional communication abilities.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, based on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth within a dynamic team.
