VenuesWest is seeking a skilled Gardener - Handyperson to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and presenting our school grounds in an attractive, clean, and tidy manner. This includes performing gardening duties, grounds and facility management, and other tasks as required.

About the Role

This is a 7 month fixed term, part-time (0.4 FTE) position commencing Term 2, 2025 with possible extension (12 Months) and/or permanency. As a member of our team, you will contribute to creating a safe, vibrant, and clean school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and present the school grounds in an attractive, clean, and tidy manner.
  • Perform gardening duties, grounds and facility management, and other tasks as required.
  • Work as part of a team providing gardening, grounds, and facility management services.
What We're Looking For
  • Knowledge of gardening methods and procedures, including the safe use and storage of gardening equipment, materials, and chemicals.
  • Experience in servicing gardening equipment and performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks is highly regarded.
  • Ability to work safely and ensure the safety of others.
