Our client, a renowned environmental consultancy, is seeking a seasoned ecologist to lead ecological field investigations, create reports, and conduct impact assessments. As a key member of the team, you will supervise others and leverage your established contacts and networks for business development and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ecological assessments, natural resource management, and environmental impact assessments
  • Provide project ecological management advice and oversight, considering legislation and matters such as vegetation, surface water, and groundwater impacts
  • Oversight of construction activities, including on-site ecological site inspections
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
  • Manage and deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Bid for and win work

Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified ecologist with over five years' experience, preferably in a consulting environment
  • Demonstrated botanical identification skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Decisive project management skills
  • 5+ years with BioBanking Accreditation
