Job Summary:

Techforce Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior HSE Advisor to join their team in the mining industry. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees and contractors on mining sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with the Group HSE team to maintain and improve the company's HSE management systems.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employees' knowledge and skills in HSE practices.
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in WHS or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety legislation in Western Australia and safety standards and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based software applications to manage HSE documentation and reports.
