About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Auxiliary Firefighter. As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our community and responding to emergency incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to fire and emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner
  • Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities
  • Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses
  • Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
  • Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment in a safe and effective manner
Requirements
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies (where applicable)
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of auxiliary fire station
