Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Benefits Manager to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This 12-month fixed-term contract will focus on managing and optimizing benefits programs across Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, and Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage annual renewals of local benefit programs, including assessing policy designs, selecting vendors, and overseeing end-to-end design and delivery of programs.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director of Benefits Strategy & Design for APAC to ensure local benefits programs align with the global rewards strategy, comply with local legislation, and meet country-specific needs.
  • Analyze data to benchmark benefits offerings against industry standards, identify opportunities for program enhancements or cost-saving initiatives, and provide insights into employee satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits vendors in the region, ensuring services meet high standards and deliver value for both the company and employees.
  • Be the go-to expert for country-specific leave and benefits policies, providing advice and support to internal teams and other business units.

Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience managing large-scale benefits programs in the APAC region, with strong knowledge of plan administration, payroll integration, and compliance with local regulations.
  • In-depth understanding of insurance benefits (e.g., medical insurance, group risk, and pensions) and retirement plans such as Superannuation is critical for success in this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure effective delivery of benefits programs.
  • Ability to manage multiple, complex projects autonomously across different countries while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Strong data analysis skills to evaluate benefit programs and make informed decisions based on external market trends and internal employee feedback.

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
