Job Description

At Healthscope, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team in Paediatric Care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills to take on a key role in providing operational direction and guidance to our nursing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to ensure efficient and effective management of the unit.
  • Coordinate the delivery of high-quality patient care that is evidence-based and patient-centred.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to staff members.
  • Ensure effective management of human, financial, and material resources.
  • Undertake direct patient care as required, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional clinical practice.
  • Maintain compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
Requirements
  • Current Registration with AHPRA.
  • Registered Nurse with at least 5 years' experience in Paediatrics.
  • Demonstrated management experience and ability to lead high-performing teams.
  • Proven ability to foster positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge base in labour management and understanding of private health funding requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • A commitment to high-standard clinical and customer-focused care.
  • High degree of computer literacy and ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Tertiary postgraduate qualifications in a relevant Nursing specialty.
  • Understanding of Work, Health and Safety legislation and quality improvement principles.
