Job Description:

We are seeking a Disability Support Care Professional to join our team on a flexible part-time basis across the Geelong and Surfcoast region.

The successful candidate will provide personal support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in various aspects of daily life including personal care, independent living skills, social and community activities.

About the Role:

You will assist clients in undertaking activities such as personal and self-care, food preparation, eating, dressing and maintenance of personal hygiene, domestic duties and other tasks as directed.

Your Responsibilities:

Provide client-centred support that respects and acknowledges each person's abilities and strengths.

Support clients in developing their skills and achieving their goals in line with their Support Plans.

Maintain confidentiality and ensure professional integrity at all times.

Requirements:

Minimum Certificate III or higher in Individual Support and/or Disability.

A current driver's license, comprehensive insurance and a reliable registered motor vehicle.

Basic computer skills; own reliable mobile phone; current First Aid Certificate with up-to-date CPR.

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check.

Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and meet the requirements of the genU Covid-19 Vaccination Policy.
