General Practitioner Opportunity in Tropical North Queensland

Innisfail, a picturesque town on the Cassowary Coast of North Queensland, is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to join their busy practice. This opportunity offers a relaxed lifestyle, with access to beautiful beaches, rainforests, and crater lakes.
Company Overview:
The practice provides a wide range of medical services, including skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, diabetes management, and women's health. With a strong emphasis on skin cancer, the surgery has invested in modern facilities and equipment, ensuring patients receive the best possible care. Onsite training is provided by Dr John Di Palma, a seasoned expert with over 40 years of experience.
Salary and Benefits:
This full-time contractor position offers a competitive salary, with 65% of billings guaranteed. The initial guarantee is $1200 per week for the first three weeks, providing financial security from day one. Additionally, relocation assistance is available after a successful three-month probation period. Furthermore, eligible candidates may be entitled to receive support and financial assistance through Health Workforce Queensland's workforce attraction and retention incentives.
Job Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must hold an MBBS (or equivalent) degree and be registered with AHPRA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for general practice, with experience in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment being highly desirable.
