Cloud Infrastructure Architect Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of cloud infrastructure environments for large and complex products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cloud infrastructure environments using automated Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates.
  • Implement standards, processes, and frameworks to support modern DevOps release deployments across all stages and iterations of the software development lifecycle.
  • Lead system design activities for strategic, large, and complex systems development programs.
  • Develop effective implementation strategies consistent with specified requirements, architectures, and constraints of performance and feasibility.
  • Apply sound advice and guidance on Information Security practices ensuring that cloud solutions deployed are secure by design and embedded into solution architecture.
  • Lead integration work in line with agreed system and service design, measures, and monitors applications against development standards.
  • Assess risks and take preventative action.
  • Provide advice and guidance on test planning and executing, as well as adopting modern testing methods, automated tools, and techniques to ensure high-quality DevOps practices.
  • Through business consultation and collaboration, gather requirements and identify functional needs, define and implement cloud solutions as required.
  • Remain up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, evaluate benefits of adopting into the department, implement, and drive adoption.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to cloud security, access controls, and privacy compliance/regulations.
  • Collaborate with Security teams to implement controls, maintaining a high, compliant security posture.

Requirements:

  • 12 months' experience in cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and IaC templates.
  • Experience with modern testing methods, automated tools, and techniques.
  • Knowledge of Information Security practices and principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
