We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Vetwest Canning Vale. As a key member of our small animal clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Assist our veterinarians in delivering high-quality care to our animal patients, including administering medications, collecting samples, and performing nursing procedures.
- Educate pet owners on proper care techniques and treatment plans, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their pet's journey.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinic environment, ensuring a safe and welcoming space for both patients and clients.
- Collaborate closely with the team to ensure seamless patient care and client satisfaction.
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- At least 18 months experience post-qualification as a veterinary nurse in a small animal hospital
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Dedication to upholding the highest standards of animal care and welfare
- Availability to work a rotating Saturday roster
