Senior Clinical Consultant Role Overview
This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our team as a Senior Clinical Consultant, bringing expertise in communication and team leadership to drive high-quality, person-centered services.
About the Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist with certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia to lead clinical teams and contribute to the development of practice standards, quality improvement measures, and ongoing growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address diverse client needs, leveraging expertise in communication assessments, intervention, and mealtime management.
- Liaise with individuals, families, and stakeholders to establish collaborative goals and facilitate meaningful engagement.
- Promote continuity of care through regular progress monitoring, evaluation, and plan adjustments as needed.
- Mentor junior staff members and colleagues to enhance their skills and knowledge, contributing to the team's overall performance and success.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to design, implement, and monitor Practice Standards, Quality Improvement Strategies, and Ongoing Quality Measures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hold a degree in Speech Pathology and certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Demonstrate a minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or those who have experienced trauma.
- Showcase expertise in conducting Communication assessments, treatment planning, and intervention for children, adolescents, and adults with complex needs, as well as Mealtime Management.
Benefits and Remuneration
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary range of A$80,000 to A$90,000 annually, reflecting their experience and qualifications. Additionally, they will benefit from:
