Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Backend Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality, robust, and secure software solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying backend cloud applications using a range of technologies including Java, Kotlin, Ktor, and Spring Boot.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize requirements, develop technical specifications, and implement APIs to communicate functional requirements.

You will also be responsible for monitoring the health of servers, writing automated tests to validate backend service functionality, and collaborating with domain stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing, deploying, debugging, and testing backend cloud applications.
  • Knowledge of at least one backend programming language (Kotlin/Java).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to adjust to different audiences.
  • Attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to cross-functional requirements from various domains.
  • Technologies you'll be working with: Java, Kotlin, Ktor, Spring Boot, AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, ELB, S3, SQS, RDS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, AutoScaling), Splunk, Git, Github Actions.
