We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Data Analysis Specialist.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work across all areas of data analysis, including anti-money laundering, corruption, fraud and other investigations, commercial disputes, business integrity assignments, transaction disputes, fraud prevention and compliance program development.

This role requires a high level of expertise in advanced data analytic tools and techniques, with the ability to generate insights to support fraud investigations, disputes, and regulatory compliance challenges for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with large datasets, extracting, validating, transforming and loading structured and unstructured data from multiple sources, and developing algorithms, data mining, and data analytic solutions to assist clients with detection of fraud, bribery and corruption; irregular financial transactions; anomalous employee behavior; and total error and waste in their operations.

As a key member of our Forensic Data Analytics practice, the successful candidate will work closely with the broader Forensics team and stakeholders to develop forensic procedures and define measurable data metrics and design investigative analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Use market leading advanced data analytic tools to generate insights to support fraud investigations, disputes, and regulatory compliance challenges for clients.

  • Extract, validate, transform and load high-volume structured and unstructured data from multiple data sources (including ERP and accounting systems) for deeper analysis.
  • Develop algorithms, data mining, and data analytic solutions to assist clients with detection of fraud, bribery and corruption; irregular financial transactions; anomalous employee behavior; and total error and waste in their operations.
  • Support senior team members in the preparation and presentation of client deliverables, including using a suite of visualization software to clearly present the benefits of the analysis to clients.
