Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced glass fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in glazing and be proficient in measuring and fitting new glass, installing frameless glass screens, balustrades, and architectural glass products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measuring and fitting new glass
  • Installing frameless glass screens, balustrades, and architectural glass products
  • Sealing glass and making everything watertight
  • Using apparatus with suction cups to lift glass into place
  • Working with plastic or laminates, and treatments that make glass safer or stronger
  • Auditing risks for installations

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Approved trade qualifications or technical competency
  • Right to live and work in Australia
  • Own tools (preferable)
  • An unrestricted NSW Driver License
  • Able to drive a manual vehicle
  • Hold a current NSW Construction Induction card (White Card)

Work Location: In person. Hours: 38 per week. Shift: 8 hour shift. Overtime expected.
