Role Summary

  • We are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Professional to join our team. As a Housekeeping Professional, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment in accordance with infection control and occupational safety and health regulations.
About the Role

This is a fast-paced team-focused role where you will work under the direction and supervision of experienced Housekeeping Team Leaders. You will provide effective support contributing to the operational success of our facility.

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in all areas, including wards and operating theatres.
  • Clean and restock equipment, and store it in appropriate storage areas.
  • Work in a friendly and supportive manner at all times.
  • Adhere to all infection control guidelines and principles.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Prior experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Availability to work morning/afternoon/evening and weekend shifts is required.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure and independently as required.
  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Proven experience with hazard identification.
  • Understanding of hygiene principles.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster with a variety of shifts available is desirable.
