Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for developing trusted relationships with Transmission and Distribution (T&D) clients.
- Health and Safety Leadership: Drive the application of Health and Safety and CDM best practices in the T&D market.
- Market Strategy and Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of the annual business plan, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage portfolio risks, escalating key decisions to the CEO as necessary.
- Project Oversight: Oversee the performance of Project Managers and Project Directors, ensuring successful project delivery.
- Revenue Growth: Drive market revenue, profit, and practice demand in line with or exceeding agreed budgets.
- Project Reviews: Ensure regular project reviews are conducted based on risk, identifying areas for improvement.
- Business Development: Lead business development efforts, creating a sustainable pipeline of work through successful bidding.
- Market Proposition: Develop and own the market proposition, thought leadership, and innovation in conjunction with the Win Work teams.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership, management, and technical guidance to the T&D team and its staff.
- Financial Management: Manage financial performance of projects, including P&L accountability.
- Staff Recruitment and Development: Direct key staff recruitment, resourcing, and development initiatives.
- Market Assessment and Innovation: Assess the market, supporting innovation of services and technical approaches to build a robust and resilient market-facing organization.
- Leadership and Management: Excellent communication, collaboration, team-working, and influencing skills, with experience leading high-performing teams.
- Financial and Commercial Management: Highly experienced in financial and commercial management for large and complex portfolios of projects.
- Negotiation and Dispute Resolution: Experience in successful negotiation and dispute resolution.
- Bid Development and Governance: Experience in developing and winning bids, with knowledge of contractual, commercial, and project delivery.
- Project Portfolio Management: A well-rounded leadership and management background, with demonstrable experience of project portfolio management.
- Leadership and Team Support: Ability to lead and support a diverse group of bid and project delivery teams.
