Livestock Property Managers Wanted

Work as a key player in the success of our business by leading the day-to-day operations of our pastoral station.

The ideal candidate will be a couple with experience in managing livestock and property who thrive on working together and are comfortable living remotely.

You'll report directly to the managing partner and have input into strategic decisions and improvements as we work towards modernisation.

  • Lead station operations, including livestock management, team leadership, infrastructure projects, and general station oversight.
  • Support across all areas - including stores, domestic tasks, occasional administration, cooking, and general help around the station.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee station operations and manage a small team.
  • Supervise contractors and lead operations.
  • Manage stock work, herd health, and seasonal planning.
  • Handle property improvements, maintenance, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain compliance and safety procedures.
  • Order supplies and submit timesheets and contractor invoices to head office.
About You
  • Proven experience managing or co-managing a livestock property (ideally goats and/or cattle).
  • Practical skills with strong common sense.
  • Leadership skills with mentoring ability.
  • Ability to handle light administration and live in remote areas.
  • A current driver's licence.
