Anaesthesia Opportunities

Overview:

  • This is an exciting opportunity to join our Anaesthesia Department as a Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure safe and effective perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality anaesthetic services for general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, ENT, Paediatrics, ophthalmology, and more.
  • Providing anaesthetic support for endoscopy, diagnostic imaging, and interventional procedures.
  • Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients recovering from surgery or dealing with long-term pain conditions.

Requirements:

  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of ANZCA (or nearing completion within six months) and/or eligibility via overseas specialist pathways.
  • Recent, comprehensive experience in Anaesthesia demonstrating expertise as a medical professional.
