Rheumatic Heart Disease Program Coordinator Job Summary

This role plays a crucial part in the implementation and evaluation of South Australia's Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) control program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and collaborate with government and non-government health organizations to implement the program effectively.
  • Develop promotional activities to raise awareness about RHD prevention and management.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop strategies to prevent and manage rheumatic heart disease.
Requirements:
  • Firm understanding of public health principles and practices.
  • Able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Knowledge of Indigenous health issues and experiences.
Working Conditions:
  • Intrastate and interstate travel required.
  • May be required to participate in emergency response activities.

Salary: $121,107 to $125,679 per year - Part Time 0.8 FTE / Term Contract
