Job Description:

As a dedicated Clinical Educator, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing training programs that foster high-quality patient care, a safe working environment, and compliance with industry protocols.

The primary objective of this position is to design, maintain, and deliver training initiatives for staff members, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to provide exceptional care and operate efficiently within their roles.

You will be responsible for managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and prioritizing competing demands while maintaining open communication channels with internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires strong leadership skills, the ability to mentor and train staff, and a passion for delivering results-driven outcomes that promote a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver Annual Competency training programs and assess staff performance to ensure compliance with National Standards.
  • Design and implement new staff induction programs, including final assessments to confirm readiness for active deployment.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive training schedule, planning up to 12 months in advance.
  • Collaborate with Management, Clinicians, Clinical Instructors, and Quality Manager to identify staff training needs and areas of risk.
  • Deliver tailored training programs for staff addressing specific skills gaps and training needs.
  • Develop training initiatives for new equipment, processes, and work methods.
  • Oversee content creation and maintenance on the ELMO online training platform.
  • Participate in clinical reviews to identify training opportunities and improvements.
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of staff attendance and training provided.
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and reports as required for leadership meetings.

Requirements:
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly experienced in patient care and transport industries.
  • Capacity to lead and mentor staff.
  • Meet the requirements and qualifications of an Advanced Trade Assistant (ATA).
  • Certification in Workplace Assessment and Training (Cert IV) preferred.
  • Clinical Instructor qualification beneficial.
