Cost Manager Assistant with MEP Support Expertise

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000-$110,000 AUD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Cost Manager Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical support to senior cost managers across all aspects of projects, including:

  • Cost estimates and quantity take-off
  • Value engineering, tendering, and evaluation
  • Progress claims and variation assessments

You will also be responsible for estimating and cost planning, producing and presenting final cost plan reports, and engaging with market stakeholders to obtain quotations and pricing.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most complex and ambitious projects in the industry, leveraging your expertise in quantity surveying and cost management to drive business growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • 1-3 years post-graduate experience
  • AIQS or RICS membership or currently on the pathway to membership
  • Experience in CostX software

In addition to technical skills, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
