Senior Window and Visual Merchandise Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Window and Visual Merchandise Designer to join our Marketing team at Michael Hill. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating captivating and visually appealing displays that effectively communicate our brand's message and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conceptualize and design innovative window displays that align with our brand's identity.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, logistics, and quality control processes to ensure consistency in production across the business.
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies and graphic designers to develop visually appealing and on-brand display concepts.
  • Implement corporate visual merchandising processes and standards throughout marketing.
  • Create best practice guidelines and campaign execution training manuals for store staff to ensure adherence to visual merchandising standards.
  • Present project concepts through mood boards and research packs, staying up-to-date on trends and forecasts.
  • Build close relationships with internal marketing, merchandising, and retail operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work collaboratively, balancing creativity with commercial awareness.
  • Experience working with production houses, project managing big budgets and timelines.
  • Excellent communication skills and presentation of ideas.
  • Awareness of market trends and ability to produce innovative, on-brand designs.
  • Ability to work under pressure with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work within budget and short timelines.
  • Confident, proactive, self-motivated, and forward-thinking.
  • Strong project management and organization skills.
