We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician specializing in auto electrical systems within the agricultural machinery sector. This full-time, permanent role involves traveling to various locations to perform essential maintenance and repairs on advanced agricultural equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the National Service Manager.
- Travel to customer sites across the region and nationally.
- Conduct on-site installations, maintenance, and repairs of machinery.
- Provide guidance to customers on equipment usage.
- Prepare detailed quotes, invoices, and receipts for services rendered.
About the Employer
This opportunity is with a prominent manufacturer in the agricultural sector, renowned for over 60 years of innovation in spray technology. The company focuses on producing a wide range of sprayers, including both self-propelled and trailed models, aimed at enhancing agricultural efficiency and sustainability.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Proven experience in the agricultural machinery industry.
- Trade qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Thorough understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) standards.
- Valid driver's license.
- Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
