About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Heavy Lift division in Victoria Park, WA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in planning and executing heavy lift and haul work scopes across a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to identify the best methodologies to safely deliver solutions for our clients
  • Manage discreet work scopes such as the introduction of new cranes into our fleet and the overhaul of existing cranes
  • Develop Lift/Transport Studies, Workpacks, Drawings and Calculations as required
  • Undertake ad-hoc site travel to support project planning and execution
  • Provide technical support on Australian Standards, Legislation and Codes of Practice
  • Assist in the development of procedures for lift/shift operations and specialized equipment
  • Develop project schedules and work closely with operational and maintenance teams to execute scopes of work
  • Work closely with stakeholders across all aspects of tendering, project planning, execution, and HSE
  • Work cooperatively with our operational team to ensure a collaborative team approach to deliver operational excellence
  • Manage work scope, schedule, and budgets where required
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external
Requirements
  • Engineering qualification, preferably degree level in Mechanical/Civil/Structural Engineering
  • AutoCAD experience
  • Experience working with mobile/crawler cranes and/or SPMTs
  • Previous experience in the Heavy Lift or Construction industry (ideally site-based)
  • Driver's license
