About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Co-worker to join our team at IKEA. As a Sales Co-worker, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers have an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as an IKEA Ambassador, understanding the impact of your role on customer experience and providing solutions to meet their kitchen and home furnishing needs.
  • Approach customers to identify their needs, ask insightful questions, and advise them on the best kitchen solutions.
  • Support customers with their kitchen design process using our in-house 3D rendering software and product catalogue.
  • Follow up with customers after initial planning appointments to discuss their kitchen designs, answer questions, and address any concerns.
  • Ensure the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised, and correctly priced.
  • Build strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features, and benefits.
Requirements
  • A passion for our home furnishing products and working with customers.
  • Ability to liaise confidently with existing and new customers via phone calls, emails, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with others, understanding customer needs and building strong relationships.
  • A 'Togetherness' mindset, working closely with your team and other departments while also working autonomously with a strong problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range.
  • A safe mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including repetitive movements and lifting.
