Cluster IT Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cluster IT Specialist to join our team at Marriott Hotels. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our properties within the cluster.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute advanced knowledge and skills in technology and hospitality business knowledge to support assigned properties and technology Information Resources objectives.
• Responsible for all technology implementation, maintenance, and support, including Internet.
• Effective individual contributor and team player.
• Stay current with new technology within the hotel industry and Company.
• Maintain computer/PABX facilities and offices in a clean and orderly manner.
• Complete assigned projects as specified within time frame.
• Operate independently and remotely.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with Cluster IT team members, Regional IT, properties management team members, and technology partners.
• Effectively execute process and procedures for systems management, including patching, pre-emptive maintenance, upgrades, backup, disaster recovery planning, and testing.

Requirements

• Ability to operate in any part of the city that the cluster serves.
• Hotel or Hospitality Management education or Bachelor's degree level or equivalent.
• Awareness of global hospitality technology trends.
• Back of the house and guest-facing operational and technical experience with hospitality management systems.
• Availability to work across 7 days, including weekends as required.
