Job Overview

We are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Professional to join our Maintenance Department at Nyrstar Port Pirie. As part of this role, you will be responsible for breakdown repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance activities across all equipment and plant on site.

This is a residential position based in Port Pirie, South Australia, with a 5/4 roster (days only). This schedule provides a great balance between work and personal life, with more days off than the usual two-day weekend, including two full weekends off per month.

Relocation Assistance

Relocation to Port Pirie is part of the package, which includes benefits such as the transfer of household belongings, provision of temporary accommodation upon arrival, and a relocation allowance of $5k to assist with supplementary expenses related to the move.

  • A competitive salary of approximately AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience, in a regional location near Adelaide.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A relevant trade qualification (minimum Certificate III).
  • Heavy industry, mining, smelting, or similar experience is highly regarded.
  • You should be self-motivated, reliable, and able to work effectively under pressure while being a team player.
  • Additionally, qualifications in Dogging, Rigging, EWP, Confined Space, and Working at Heights are also beneficial.
