About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our Sydney team. As a key member of our finance team, you will support the financial operation of the business and play a critical role in running day-to-day operations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create and distribute invoices, process accounts receivable payments, and follow up on overdue invoices
  • Manage, check, and process weekly invoices and payments to suppliers
  • Reconcile company credit card statements
  • Set up and process payroll, superannuation payments, and reconciliation of payroll accounts
  • Prepare Weekly Management Reports

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, CA or CPA preferred
  • Over 5 years of experience in a Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant role
  • Demonstrated experience in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Demonstrated experience in bank reconciliation
  • Demonstrated experience in payroll (experience in Astute preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in general accounting tasks, i.e., general ledger operations, processing journal entries, Balance Sheet reconciliation, etc.
  • Experience in MYOB
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High attention to details
