About the Role:

Multiskilled Domestic Cleaner/Catering

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean and welcoming environment in an aged care setting. The successful candidate will provide person-centered care, communicate effectively with residents, and follow established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness in cooking areas and equipment to ensure a safe and healthy environment.
  • Clean resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
  • Handle residents' laundry and manage bed linen according to established procedures.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Understanding of infection control measures to prevent the spread of illness.
  • Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting is highly regarded.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
