Australian Unity is seeking a skilled Home Care Support Professional to provide high-quality support services to our aged care customers in the comfort of their own homes. As a key member of our Home Health program, you will play a vital role in helping our customers live independently and empowered within their own communities.


We are currently recruiting experienced support workers for various locations, including Milperra, East Hills, Panania, Revesby, Padstow, Riverwood, Peakhurst, Narwee, Beverly Hills, Roselands, Lakemba, and Wiley Park. As a Home Care Support Professional, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers and their families.


Key responsibilities of this role include:



  • Providing personal care and domestic support to our customers, including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and assisted dressing
  • Transporting customers to appointments, shopping, and social outings
  • Assisting with personal hygiene, toileting, showering, dressing, and mealtime support
  • Building relationships with customers and their families, conducting client observations, and providing ongoing support and training
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers and staff, adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A current Australian Driver's License and ownership of a reliable insured vehicle
  • A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar industry and/or a certification in care
  • Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday and Friday
  • Familiarity with the Australian Unity values of Warm, Bold, and Honest
  • Proficiency in an additional language is valued but not mandatory
