About Aviation Security Roles

Airport security is a vital component of passenger and cargo safety. This role plays a critical part in maintaining airport security.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and possess the ability to make sound judgments quickly. They will also be required to undergo relevant training to ensure they are equipped to handle the demands of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the safety and security of passengers and cargo
  • Managing traffic flow through airport checkpoints
  • Providing exceptional customer service while liaising with customers and stakeholders
  • Maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures
  • Recording incident reports as necessary

Requirements:

  • Certificate II in Transport Security (training provided)
  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening
  • ASIC Clearance
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
