Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering legal guidance to sales and post-sales operations across Australia and the APAC region concerning customer support and warranty issues.
- Offering strategic advice to the organization regarding disputes, local business challenges, litigation, and commercial ventures.
- Spearheading commercial transaction initiatives in the region to support sales and marketing efforts, including revenue-generating agreements, business strategies, distribution frameworks, dealer programs, and marketing initiatives.
- Drafting and reviewing supply agreements, purchase contracts, confidentiality documents, sales term sheets, business terms and conditions, and various commercial contracts.
- Overseeing and directing external legal counsel concerning all legal affairs within the APAC region.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Must hold a valid legal qualification to practice in Australia, with additional consideration for qualifications from Singapore or the United States.
- Experience in-house within the renewable energy, project finance, or corporate finance sectors is preferred.
- Full working rights in Australia and eligibility to practice law in the country are essential.
