Network Security Engineer Role

About the Team

Cyber Security Engineering oversees network infrastructure for offices, seamless communication and remote work. We manage critical infrastructure and build resilient networks.

About the Position

Solving problems hands-on with Firewalls, SASE, ZTNA, WiFi, LAN Switching and WAN.

Delivering robust network security solutions in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Automation reduces operational overheads; continuously learning and adapting to emerging threats and technologies.

Collaborating with an exceptional group of engineers in an inspiring work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop scalable, reliable and secure network architectures like SASE, ZTNA, DLP, CASB, SWG and SD-WAN.
  • Assess, design and enforce security protocols to protect the network from threats and meet compliance requirements.
  • Automate security configurations and IaC practices to reduce overhead and improve reliability.
  • Lead incident response efforts related to network breaches and misconfigurations ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Engage in stakeholder and relationship management working closely with security teams and vendors.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship helping teach engineers and contribute to shared knowledge.
Requirements
  • Strong engineering experience in network security, cloud-based security solutions, and Zero Trust architectures.
  • Proficiency in scripting and automation (Python, Terraform or other IaC tools).
  • Experience with well-known products in VPN, Firewalls, Switches, Routers and Wireless Controllers and Access Points.
  • Deep understanding of network security compliance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills aligning security priorities with business needs.
  • Strong incident response and troubleshooting skills ensuring rapid recovery and remediation of network threats.
  • Ability to design secure, scalable and resilient network architectures in a fast-paced environment.
