The Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) is a leading healthcare provider in South Australia, offering a unique opportunity for a Toxicology Registrar to join our team. As a key member of our Clinical Toxicology and Emergency Medicine department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct care to patients admitted to the Toxicology Unit, under the supervision of our experienced Toxicology Consultants.
- Be involved in the assessment and management of toxicology cases, including hospital-based service delivery and consultative support.
- Participate in regular audits of unit activity, research, and the delivery of Toxicology-specific medical education to general ED trainees and other professional groups.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients with poisoning, botanical and chemical exposures, and envenoming.
