About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior/Project Engineer to join our team in Brisbane CBD. As a Senior/Project Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with experience in managing multi-discipline teams and leading projects across various industries, including oil and gas, manufacturing, infrastructure, and heavy industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Manage and coordinate multi-discipline teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (with mechanical, process, or piping background) with 5-10 years' experience
  • Proven track record of leading and managing engineering projects
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring projects
  • Experience in engaging and supervising multi-discipline teams
  • Experience in preparing tender documents and managing the tender process
  • Experience in managing sub-contractors
