About the Role

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a dedicated and passionate OSH Coordinator to join our team in Freshwater. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with school-age children, implementing and evaluating programs that cater to their interests and needs, and ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standards and Regulations.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and education to children, and who is committed to building positive relationships with families, schools, and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement programs that meet the needs of school-age children and align with the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards and Regulations.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with families, schools, and employees.
  • Take on the role of Educational Leader within the service as needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks and ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the service.
Requirements
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Completion of CHCPRT025 'Identify & report children and young people at risk' certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis or willingness to obtain.
