Job Title:

Senior Associate - Banking & Finance Expert

About the Role

This key position in our market-leading group is based in Perth and involves working on complex cross-border and domestic transactions in Mining, Commodities, and Infrastructure sectors.

The role requires advising on project financing, structured trade financing, and corporate and institutional financing for mining and infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on project financing, structured trade financing, and corporate and institutional financing for mining and infrastructure sectors.
  • Work on varied and challenging banking and finance transactions with multiple clients including banks, corporate borrowers, investment banks, credit funds, and colleagues globally.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Demonstrated experience in banking and finance transactions at a reputable law firm.
  • At least 5+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with multiple partners.
  • Ability to build a network and assist with business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Eligible to practice law in Australia.
  • Expertise in banking and finance law.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
