Job Title: Climate Risk Consultant

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Climate Risk Consultant. As a key member of our climate risk and resilience team, you will be responsible for supporting clients in understanding and managing climate-related risks and opportunities.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global climate science, scenarios, and relevant climate data. You will work closely with clients across multiple sectors, including energy, retail, financial institutions, and manufacturing, to evaluate and analyze climate-related risks and opportunities.

You will be responsible for supporting client engagements via effective identification and assessment of climate-related risks, opportunities, and impacts to global businesses. This role will sit within our APAC Climate Risk and Resiliency team, but collaborate closely with our decarbonisation, ESG, and mandatory reporting teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of agreed consulting engagements/projects on time, on budget, and to high standards of quality.
  • Provide expert viewpoint and quality assurance on deliverables as needed.
  • Build the confidence and trust of client teams and represent their interests effectively inside their organisations.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, presentations, and sometimes workshops in line with project scope.
Required Skills & Qualifications

A degree/relevant qualification in a related field (sustainability/climate, environmental science, finance, climate policy, etc.) is required. A passion for sustainability and an interest in being at the forefront of sustainability and sustainable finance is also essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively to clients. Familiarity with reporting frameworks such as ASRS AASB S2, TCFD, ISSB, or other related standards is desirable.
