About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Coffs Harbour, NSW. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions.

Job Description:

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Case Management: You will manage caseloads effectively, utilizing your clinical knowledge and expertise to improve return to work outcomes.
  • Clinical Assessments: You will conduct various assessments, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments, to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment, and identify suitable employment opportunities.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to develop and implement effective injury prevention and workplace education programs.
  • Schemes and Programs: You will work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third-party insurance, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veterans' Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences, or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with the Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC);
  • Previous experience working in the occupational rehabilitation industry is highly regarded;
  • Fabulous communication skills;
  • Compassion, kindness, and empathy;
  • Strong time management skills; and
  • A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.

Benefits:
