About the Position

As an environmental professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping policy, guiding management, and driving positive change across our projects.

We are seeking experienced practitioners to contribute to our project work and growth. You will bring your expertise to deliver high-quality outcomes, lead teams, manage complex projects, and foster strong client relationships.

You will have the opportunity to develop your leadership, project management, and business development skills, as well as continue learning on the job.

  • Effectively communicate complex ideas to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice, participate in meetings, facilitate workshops, give presentations, brainstorm, and collaborate.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including government agencies, NRM bodies, academics, and technical experts.
  • Analyse data, reports, people, and situations; adapt to unique project requirements.
  • Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
Key Responsibilities
  • Content creation: communicate complex ideas effectively to clients and project stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder engagement: advise clients, participate in meetings, facilitate workshops, give presentations, brainstorm, and collaborate.
  • Collaboration: work across different organisations and with collaborators such as government agencies, NRM bodies, academics, and technical experts.
  • Critical thinking and analysis: analyse data, reports, people, and situations; adapt to unique project requirements.
  • Team player: contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
What We're Looking For

We are seeking skilled environmental professionals who want to contribute to our project work and growth. You will need relevant environmental experience in private sector, government, or research, and a strong understanding of one or more areas including water and/or landscape science, planning and management, biodiversity conservation, environmental regulation and policy, program and policy evaluation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (MER).

Awareness of emerging opportunities and challenges in environmental and natural resource management, including nature-positive approaches and natural capital concepts is also essential.

  • Three plus years for a mid-level practitioner; eight plus years for a senior practitioner; fifteen plus years for a principal practitioner.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; GIS is helpful but not essential.
