Job Title: Executive Chef

Mr. Majestic Café & Bar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new menu items and specials
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
  • Collaborate with the restaurant manager to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a chef in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service

Working Conditions:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, noise, and physical activity. The successful candidate will be required to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
