We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our specialist geriatric unit in Central Adelaide.
About the RoleAs a Geriatric Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to older patients with complex health needs. You will be responsible for delivering person-centered care, supporting patients in their journey through the healthcare system, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. As part of your professional growth, you will take accountability for your own nursing practice, ensuring the highest standards of care and contributing to a positive, supportive team culture.

Key Requirements:- Qualifications & Registration: Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, holding a current practising certificate.
- Effective Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to Care: Demonstrated ability to prioritize workloads and deliver consumer and family-centered care with a creative and flexible approach.
- Knowledge & Experience: Competence in nursing practice, with an understanding of relevant legislation, quality improvement systems, and the role of a Registered Nurse in healthcare.
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
