Talenza has partnered with a leading global financial services business to find a Cyber Security Lead. The company is looking for a contractor to join their team on a parental leave arrangement.

The focus of the role is on governance for several of the company's tech platforms, specifically DLP and Vulnerability Management. While the technical aspects are managed by a third-party provider, your involvement will be more senior-focused, engaging with internal stakeholders, driving action plans, and enhancing overall maturity.

Duties

  • You will be responsible for governance, risk, and compliance across DLP and Vulnerability Management platforms.
  • Your role will involve internal stakeholder engagement and management.
  • You will drive reporting, uplift, and vendor management initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

  • To succeed in this position, you will need at least 5 years of experience in cyber security.
  • You must possess strong knowledge and experience across either DLP or Vulnerability Management.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders up to C-level are essential.
  • A general understanding of GRC principles is also required.
  • Industry certifications are not necessary but are a nice-to-have.
