Job Overview

This part-time permanent position is an excellent opportunity to join our team as a Food Service Manager at The NRMA.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Food Service Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and presentation meet company guidelines and customer preferences;
  • Liaising with food service staff and management regarding customer orders and general kitchen operations;
  • Maintaining a safe and hygienic working environment, including proper storage of food, equipment, utensils, and implements;
  • Conducting daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries, and recording assessments where necessary;
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning procedures.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a cafe, restaurant, or club kitchen;
  • A Certificate in Commercial Cookery;
  • A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety;
  • Highly effective verbal communication skills;
  • Outstanding customer service skills;
  • An ability to work as part of a team and contribute to achieving high standards.
