Office Support Specialist

About the Role:

The Office Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in the Radiation Oncology New Patient Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support, complete tasks efficiently and deliver exceptional customer service as part of the Radiation Oncology Administration Team.
  • Show flexibility and adaptability to various tasks and roles to ensure efficient rostering of the administration team.
  • Take pride and ownership for the quality of work performed, maintaining high standards at all times.
  • Provide cover and be rostered to other administration roles to support planned and unplanned leave as required.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated competence in administrative skills and general office procedures.
  • Excellent customer service skills and experience.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer and general literacy with accurate keyboard and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling hospital matters for patients and staff.
