Position Summary:

We are seeking a fully qualified Refrigeration Mechanic to enhance our growing team. This role is pivotal in managing our refrigeration services and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Refrigeration Duties:
    • Install new refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including necessary piping and ductwork.
    • Set up freezer and cool room equipment, ensuring proper controls are in place.
    • Maintain ducted HVAC systems across various commercial and residential settings.
    • Diagnose refrigeration issues utilizing appropriate testing tools.
    • Repair and replace refrigeration components, controls, or fixtures as needed.
    • Provide preliminary quotes and estimates for refrigeration projects.
    • Demonstrate proficiency with iPads and computers for job management.
  • Electrical Duties:
    • Possess electrical qualifications and experience, preferably.
    • Exhibit strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and refrigeration electrical components.
    • Conduct fault finding and repairs on refrigeration electrical systems.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a refrigeration apprenticeship.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the refrigeration field post-apprenticeship.
  • Valid manual driver's license.
  • White card certification.
  • Refrigeration handling license [ARTIC].
  • Police clearance certificate.
