Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team on the Collie Battery Energy Storage System (CBESS) Project. This is a full-time, project-based contract position available on a 10/4 DIDO roster from Perth, with a local option available for those residing in the Collie region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and administer project contracts and documentation to ensure all commercial aspects and conditions are met.
  • Provide support and contractual assistance to the Project Manager to ensure contractual obligations are being met.
  • Liaise with the Scheduling team to ensure the weekly program reflects the true performance on the project.
  • Organize, compile, and submit variations to the contract.
  • Follow up with the client to ensure variations and claims are reviewed and signed off on an ongoing basis throughout the project.
  • Organize, compile, and submit claims for delays and extension of time to the client in accordance with the Contract timeline and requirements.
  • Provide reports on project performance relating to progress, WHS, manning, etc., as required by the Contract.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration, law, or a related field discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a senior contracts administrator in the heavy construction industry.
  • High-level attention to detail.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC), and industry practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal) with the ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
  • High level of commitment to safety.
  • Strong computer literacy.
