Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Forklift Driver to join our despatch team. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of fresh produce.

About the Role:

This position involves operating forklifts and machinery in a safe and efficient manner, loading and unloading trucks, containers and other transport vehicles with forklifts, and maintaining product temperature control.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cooling and temperature management, as well as sound computer knowledge.

This is a full-time opportunity with flexible work hours and a competitive remuneration package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Load and unload trucks, containers and other transport vehicles with forklifts
  • Maintain strict product temperature control
  • Complete forklift pre-start checklists and logbooks
  • Report any maintenance requirements to the appropriate person
  • Comply with all policies and procedures regarding despatch operations
Requirements:
  • Australian Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Experience in cooling and temperature management
  • Sound computer knowledge (SAP or similar)
